Using Wooclap in lessons: Wordcloud
Wordcloud
One idea I’ve had for using Wooclap is to use the word cloud feature to elicit student ideas on a particular topic. Say for example, you were working on comparatives and superlatives. You could supply a list of ideas to learners but why take the work away from learners? Why not get the learners to supply the list of ten animals or ten different types of transport to compare? Learners can send ideas in to you and they will appear on the screen as a word cloud. You can delete words that are spelled incorrectly as they come in to keep the standards high. Students then have an on screen reference point to generate further language quickly and easily.
